A Memorial Tribute

Our ADGSD board members are saddened by the loss of a valued colleague and friend.

Dr. Diane Beach Darby, a Gerontologist with a Master's Degree in Public Health and a Doctorate in Education, has trained thousands of staff caregivers, Activity Professionals, and family members who care for residents or persons with dementia.

Diane was a speaker at several of our educational workshops and selflessly made herself available to us when one of our members or colleagues needed guidance. Diane touched and impacted so many lives in San Diego. Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to her family. She will be greatly missed by all.
